Journal of Natural Compounds Chemistry (JNCC) is an international, biannual Journal, peer-reviewed, open access, scientific journal published by Union Medicinal Plants of Iran. The scope of the journal is very broad. The journal covers all aspects of research in the chemistry, biochemistry and biological activities of naturally occurring compounds and related issues such as natural products chemistry, green chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacognosy, natural drugs, functional natural compounds, application of essential oils and extracts in various fields of chemistry and pharmacology, application of the extracted compounds of medicinal plants in industry, Phytochemistry, nanochemistry, food chemistry, chemical composition, chemical synthesis, agriculture, biochemistry, biotechnology.

Discussions of the structure of different classes of natural compounds, the chemical characteristics of botanical families, genus, and species, research relating to synthesis and experimental biosynthesis of natural products as well as the analysis, detection and measurement methods in these areas are also welcomed in the journal.
